About
I am a doctoral candidate in English at University of Exeter, UK. My thesis examines excavatory tropes in the poetry of Geoffrey Hill, Ciaran Carson, Geraldine Monk, Peter Riley, Alice Oswald.
Other Research Interests:
Archives in scholarly and creative practice; digital poetics; temporality and spatiality in gaming (digital); politics and philosophies of of time.

January 2011: Jointly awarded a Learning and Teaching Enhancement Grant with Dr. Kym Martindale at UCF. We investigated the value of using archives to enhance teaching and learning in the field of Creative Writing. The outputs of the project include conference papers, articles and a blog.
2010: Involved in an AHRC funded project in the department of Geography at University of Exeter (UoE) entitled, 'From Climate to Landscape: Imagining the Future' with Professor Catherine Brace (UoE), Dr Hilary Geoghegan (UoE) and Dr Kym Martindale (University College Falmouth).
